One of Smitty’s Workshop first clients was Morrissey Hospitality Companies. Fortunately for us, that has meant a lot of food photography over the last 10 years. Here’s a sampling of some of our favorites.
Smitty’s Workshop was hired by The Rake to photograph some of the Twin Cities’ most respected musicians during a surreal day of rock ‘n roll frivolity, food and fun. Chan Poling, John Munson and Steve Roehm of The New Standards, and grammy-award winning writer and performer Dan Wilson spent a morning at Heimie’s Haberdashery and a leisurely lunch at Au Rebours (R.I.P.) with their wives to celebrate the rock ‘n roll life style to it’s fullest. We captured the moment in awe. Thanks to all for inviting us in.
Smitty’s Workshop was hired by The St. Paul Grill to create an invitation to entice hockey fans to visit The Grill before Minnesota Wild hockey games at Xcel Energy Center. With a bit of Smitty food photography and the magic of technology, the message become clear.
PINZ is a bowling alley…actually two bowling alleys, a restaurant, a bar, a snack bar, event space, an arcade, a laser tag haven and a great place for a birthday party all under one roof. Here are a few of our favorites from the two half days we spent with their crazy fun cast of regulars.
Mighty Dog Media connected Smitty’s Workshop with Visit Minneapolis North (VMN) for a multi-day shoot covering nearly a dozen locations. The goal: create a gallery of custom stock photography featuring the venues and services available through VMN and its members.
Minnesota’s capital city has been the location for many amazing photo shoots. Our thanks, in particular, to Capital City Partnership for utilizing us on many downtown St. Paul photo acquisition missions.
