Smitty’s Workshop provides creative direction for Mighty Dog Media and their successful meetingpages product. Both the Mighty Dog Media and meetingpages.com web sites were designed by Smitty’s Workshop and developed by Mighty Dog’s crack team of developers. The Mighty Dog site features simple use of Javascript and flash animations, and rich billboard-style branded messaging site-wide.

The meetingpages.com site is a robust search engine designed to get meeting planners and suppliers on the same page. In addition to the web’s most comprehensive, searchable list of meeting suppliers in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Colorado, the site provides enhanced advertising opportunities for suppliers and intuitive online meeting + event planning tools for planners.

It has been our pleasure to work with the folks at Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists for the past few years.  Our recent projects – an annual report, web site and sign system for their new Lehr Theater – have helped to build a synchronized brand presence that positions this unique charter school to sustain its incredible growth and development as one of Minnesota’s best arts schools.  We highly recommend this school for budding performers.

Platinum Bank, Oakdale, MN invited Smitty’s Workshop to capture in video the essence of their unique bank. A great day of interviews with their very hospitable staff led to a great story interwoven with history and insight into what makes a banker more than just a load officer – and what makes this bank different than just about any bank you’ve ever known. Their Loft meeting space is available (for free) to the community for events – and the root beer on tap is always cold.

Many thanks to those who support the Franconia Sculpture Park.  This place continues to amaze. Just west of Taylor’s Falls, in Franconia Township (Shafer, MN technically…where MN Hwy 95 and US 8 meet) this place is the earth-loving St. Croix version of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Super kid-friendly. Full of wonderful art by great artists like Robert Ressler (his work Sturgeon shown above), Mark di Suvero, and Kari Reardon (her work The Big Game is somehow a very serious and massively fun all at once.) And, chances are good you can watch real art being created on-the-spot. Bring a picnic and visit any time dawn-to-dusk.  Open 365 days a year.  And, don’t forget to stuff the donation box on the porch of the Info Shack.

Customer creative workshops, a re-polished logo, a new headline and photography from around the world were utilized in the re-branding project Smitty’s Workshop conducted for MSpace.  The three ads above were all displayed simultaneously in different areas of the busiest concourse at MSP International Airport to bring the MSpace brand to business travelers.

House Dressing Company hired Smitty’s Workshop to refresh their brand – including a web site chock full of down-to-earth video testimonials from their satisfied customers.  Visit the Testimonials Page of the House Dressing Company web site to see more.

Smitty’s Workshop was hired by The St. Paul Grill to create an invitation to entice hockey fans to visit The Grill before Minnesota Wild hockey games at Xcel Energy Center.  With a bit of Smitty food photography and the magic of technology, the message become clear.

Capital City Partnership (CCP) is another of Smitty’s Workshop’s oldest clients.  For nearly 10 years, Smitty’s Workshop has provided design, photography and branding services to this outstanding organization.  Their annual report, shown above, and also available HERE, is a showcase of great things happening in Minnesota’s Capital City – and chock full of photography and Smitty design.  Our hats off to the CCP staff who have worked tirelessly over the last decade to plan, develop, market and promote Saint Paul!
